Watch salmon migrate up the fish ladder at the Chittenden Locks in Ballard mid-June through October, with the best viewing through September. Professional naturalists provide daily salmon talks at the fish ladder following free one-hour tours. Special tours can be arranged for school groups.

Volunteer naturalists will be hosting a salmon information table at the fish ladder on the following dates:
Saturday, June 29, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, July 13, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, July 20, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, August 10, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, August 27, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, September 7, 11am – 3pm
Saturday, September 13, 11am – 3pm
