Salmon Recovery Funding Board-Funded Salmon Habitat Projects

The Salmon Recovery Funding Board awarded $11.25 million during the first nine funding rounds for salmon habitat protection, restoration, and assessment projects in the Green/Duwamish and Central Puget Sound Watershed (WRIA 9).

In addition, a "pre-SRFB" round in 1999, three grants totalling $180,000 were awarded.

These grants build on funding sources such as King Conservation District, Waterways 2000, and other local, state and federal funding sources.

The map below shows projects funded during the first seven rounds (not shown are pre-SRFB grants, 8th round grants in 2007, and 9th round grants in 2008). Links will take you to descriptions of each project.
