Forum of Local Governments for Salmon Habitat Recovery

The Forum of local governments was folded into the Watershed Ecosystem Forum in January 2009.

The Forum of local governments for Water Resource Inventory Area 9 -- the Green/Duwamish and Central Puget Sound Watershed -- operated from 2001 to 2008.

The responsibilities of the Forum were passed on to the Watershed Ecosystem Forum, which began operating at the beginning of 2009. The Watershed Ecosystem Forum combined the membership of the Forum and the membership of the Steering Committee.

The WRIA 9 Forum included representatives of 16 local governments that have jurisdiction in WRIA 9 and the City of Tacoma. Forum representatives were either elected officials or appointed staff.
