Fall is here, and salmon are returning to streams and rivers around Puget Sound. Watch for these natural beauties at viewing sites listed here - and cheer them on if you see them!

View sockeye and Chinook salmon on Bear Creek in Redmond from late September to late October by visiting the R.O.S.E. (Redmond Organization of Shared Environments) 3/8 mile trail, created and maintained by Lake Washington Environmental and Adventure School. The trail is self-guided, or you may call to schedule a docent-led group tour (suggested donation of $5.00 per person). Visit at 12526 Avondale Road NE in Redmond during business hours every day of the week or by appointment.

The trail is located behind Redmond's new KIS Farm (Keep It Simple, Inc.), so visitors can also enjoy the cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, bees and edible nursery to learn more about urban farming and sustainability.
