It's Salmon SEEson again!

Fall is here, and salmon are returning to streams and rivers around Puget Sound. Watch for these natural beauties at the viewing sites around the watershed as they make their seasonal journey!

See salmon returning to Kelsey Creek

Dates: October (self-guided).
Location: Mercer Slough fish ladder south of SE 8th in Bellevue, and the Kelsey Creek Farm Park.

You can also check the West Tributary of Kelsey Creek at Kelsey Creek Farm Park.

Driving Directions:

Mercer Slough Fish Ladder: From I-405, go west on SE 8th and left on 118th Ave SE. Park in lots just before and after the site, look for creek sign, and walk down the path and look for the interpretive signs.

Kelsey Creek Farm Park: From I-405, take SE 8th exit (#12). Go east and follow road through light at Lake Hills Connector into residential area. Turn left at stop sign (128th Ave SE). Turn right at SE 4th Place. Follow to parking lot. One of the best sites for seeing salmon is in a pond just upstream of the car bridge on the West Tributary.
