Welcome to the home page for the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County, Washington. We are a regional program of local governments working together to protect public health and environmental quality by reducing the threat posed by the production, use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
 
We offer information and services to help 1.8 million residents and 54,000 businesses and other groups reduce toxic and hazardous materials, safely use and store hazardous materials and properly dispose of hazardous wastes. For more information, click below:

The Local Hazardous Waste Program will be updating its Plan during 2009-2010. Learn about how you can participate in the process.
