For large quantities of reusable paint: If the paint is not contaminated, old, has not been frozen and you are not in a hurry to get rid of it, visit IMEX or call the staff at 206-263-8465.
 
How can I get free paint?
Free paint may be available through the Industrial Materials Exchange (IMEX). Visit IMEX or call the staff at 206-263-8465.
 
Residents and non-profit organizations may be able to pick up limited amounts of oil-based paint from the South Seattle Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility or Wastemobile  (March - October) depending on availability.
Proper disposal
For oil-based paint: Do not dry up oil-based paint. Take it to a household hazardous waste collection site.
 
For other paint products (such as turpentine): Take to a household hazardous waste collection site.
