Draft 2010 Hazardous Waste Plan Update

Collection

The Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County (LHWMP, or Program) is a regional partnership of local governments. Our mission is to protect and enhance public health and the environment by reducing the threat posed by the production, use, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.

The Program is updating its Ecology-approved master plan for the first time since 1997 and we are asking for public comments until February 16, 2010. You can read the 2010 Draft Plan Update by downloading the individual chapters below, or by downloading the whole document on the link in the box. We will accept your comments by e-mail, voice-mail or in writing as described under the “Public Comments Requested” section below.
